Farm-to-Fork LoudounSM is an 11-day culinary celebration of local food, developed to honor the art of collaboration - bringing together Loudoun’s fine farmers with restaurant chefs and owners for the purpose of developing new, or strengthening existing relationships leading to unique camaraderie and driving the local economic engine! All participating chefs and restaurant owners have committed to using at least 70 percent locally sourced food July 26 through August 5, when restaurant patrons may order from specially created Farm-to-Fork LoudounSM menus featuring some of the county's best locally grown and raised produce, beef, lamb, and poultry, complemented by a selection of Loudoun wine, brew and spirits. Inspired by a current national movement that poses the question, "where does our food come from?", this 11-day project is a true celebration.
